From a small student strength of 81 in 1983 the college has made progress over the period of time and reached upto the strength of 900 students. +3 was started in the session 1985. It provides teaching facility in 7 subjects in humanities only in +2 & in 6 subjects in +3 Stream. Commerce in +2 stream was started in the session. But due to poor enrolment of students the faculty has been suspended by the order of the Govt. from.
The college has no career oriented courses in +3 level but in +2 level vocational courses has been started.
College is affiliated with UGC and comes under 2(f) & 12(b) from 27.10.2006. Received GIA in 1988-89& Block Grant in 2009-10.
